Hawk+ Is Here: The Most Advanced Flatbed Ever from Four Wheel Campers
More Features. More Function. More Freedom.
Woodland, CA – May 14, 2025 – At Four Wheel Campers, we’ve spent over five decades helping people go farther with purpose-built, durable campers designed for real adventure. Today, we’re proud to introduce Hawk+, our most capable flatbed camper yet—and the first in our lineup to offer full self-containment.
Built for extended travel on or off the grid, Hawk+ delivers more power, more water, and more usable space than any previous model. Designed for heavy-duty trucks with a 7-foot flatbed tray, Hawk+ redefines what’s possible in a pop-up truck camper – giving you everything you need to stay out longer and camp more comfortably.
What Makes Hawk+ Different?
More Power
Stay off-grid longer with a robust energy system designed to support modern conveniences:
- Up to 810Ah lithium battery capacity (optional) – Massive energy storage for extended remote travel
- Up to 500W of roof-mounted solar panels (optional) – Capture energy wherever the sun shines
- RedArc Manager Alpha 75 (optional) – Advanced battery monitoring and charging control
- 2000W inverter with transfer switch (optional) – Reliable AC power for appliances and tools without the need for a shore power hookup
- External 12V/120V ports with USB & USB-C – Easy charging for your devices inside or out
- Dedicated exterior DC port for Starlink Mini – Stay connected from anywhere
Hawk+ delivers more power than any camper we’ve built to date. Its advanced electrical system is designed to meet the demands of even the most power-hungry adventurers. With ample battery capacity, solar capability, and a high-output inverter, Hawk+ makes off-grid air conditioning and induction cooking a reality—a significant leap in comfort and self-sufficiency for extended backcountry travel.

More Resources
Built to extend your time away from hookups and hassle:
- 40-gallon freshwater tank – Double the size of standard FWC slide-ins and flatbeds
- 5-gallon integrated gray water tank – A first for Four Wheel Campers, adding convenience and compliance
- Inset 2-burner portable induction stove (optional) – Use it inside or move it outdoors to suit your cooking style

More Space
Interior upgrades designed for real-life usability:
- +6″ of floor, counter, and cabinet space – Compared to the original Hawk Flatbed
- +6” of dinette seating – Seats up to four for meals or remote work
- Pass-through external storage – Includes a flip-down exterior table for added function
- New front countertop – With built-in pantry space for better organization
- Optional rear MOLLE rack – Attach gear and accessories with ease
Hawk+ offers over 40 cubic feet of stowable interior storage – excluding the additional space available in the flatbed tray itself. That means more room for gear, food, and essentials, keeping campers organized, comfortable, and out exploring longer.

More Features. More Function. More Freedom.
Whether you’re seeking solitude in the high desert, navigating remote forest trails, or setting up at your favorite campground, Hawk+ delivers a fully self-contained experience – with ample water and power, induction cooking and air conditioning capabilities, and intelligently designed storage to support long term travel.
“With Hawk+, we’ve taken everything customers love about our Flatbeds and made it even better – more comfort, more capability, and more room to adventure. After spending several nights off-grid in remote places, I can personally say this camper brings every comfort you could ask for to wherever the road leads. The power system handled everything I needed with ease, the water capacity was a challenge to deplete, and the interior space is thoughtfully refined for both living and working from the road.”
