00:12
this here is the mechanical camper Jax
00:15
for customers that want to take the
00:16
camper on and off their truck on a
00:19
regular basis if you’re leaving the
00:21
camper on full-time you won’t need to
00:22
order Jax the jack bracket this little
00:25
white Jack racket over here is attached
00:27
to all of the campers jack brackets
00:30
standard mechanical can’t reject for the
00:33
four-corners is an option
00:35
these are simple to use they three bolts
00:38
to bolt that on set it on put your bolts
00:41
in there and tighten them down you can
00:43
travel with these Jack’s on you can
00:45
travel with the Jack’s off we usually
00:48
recommend loading the camper securing
00:51
your tie-downs turnbuckles plugging the
00:53
camper in and leaving your Jack’s at
00:55
home having these four Jack’s hanging
00:58
off the side of the camper can be a snag
01:01
factor sometimes for rocks on trails
01:04
trees or other cars parked next to you
01:08
can sometimes will clip them to use them
01:11
they come with a crank handle actually
01:14
come with to crank handles and a drill
01:17
bit crank handle we use sometimes just
01:19
to get it started and crank it down by
01:24
hand it’s just very slow it’s easy to do
01:26
it’s not a lot of pressure but it’s slow
01:30
to make this Jack go down here for that
01:33
reason
01:34
that’s where the drill bit comes in and
01:36
we’ll take a cordless drill put our
01:38
drill bit in there it will run those up
01:42
and down when I’m doing that the
01:45
distance making this Jack go all the way
01:47
to the ground we use the speed setting
01:52
makes it very fast and then when we’re
01:55
starting to lift the entire weight of
01:56
the camper we’ll switch the gear more to
01:59
the torque setting so it can do the
02:04
heavy lifting without putting strain on
02:06
the drill motor when you want to set the
02:09
camper back down into the truck we just
02:11
reverse that lower that down and we’ll
02:18
do the rest of the quick lifting with
02:20
the faster setting but what we do before
02:25
we get to the end of the jack here
02:27
before this foot goes all the way up
02:30
into the edge of the the rest of the
02:33
jack mechanism we slow down
02:37
so we’ll just go nice and slow the last
02:40
four or five six turns the reason for
02:44
that is if you’re going too fast and
02:47
that thing stops it goes all the way to
02:49
the end
02:50
sometimes your your drill will will jerk
02:53
out of your hands hit your shoulder so
02:56
that last little bit you can just do
02:59
that by hand when the jack is all the
03:04
way up drill bits off I usually take a
03:07
crank handle I’ll check my foot here if
03:11
it’s rattling it’s too loose this can
03:14
actually rattle down all the way to the
03:16
ground on washboard roads if you’re
03:18
traveling with your jacks on
03:22
we take these off most of the time but
03:24
if you’re going to leave them on go
03:27
ahead and just put your little crank
03:28
handle on here and then figure out the
03:31
right direction and tighten it down and
03:33
I’m doing super tight just snugging it
03:36
down a little bit
03:37
tightens that gear up tightens the foot
03:40
up
03:40
no more rattle that jacks nice and firm
03:43
now this isn’t gonna rattle down it’s
03:46
locked
03:46
I didn’t over tighten it but I did snug
03:48
it down then we put the handles away
03:51
hope that helps
