We’ve seen more and more surfers come up and join the Four Wheel Camper family. I mean, our slide-in campers DO make a perfect beachside surf setup. In honor of all our FWC surfers, we’ve decided to curate a list of the best surf spots in America.
Many of these beaches are also ideal for beginners, so if surfing is on your list, we’ve got you covered! From the iconic breaks of California to the hidden gems of the East Coast and the sun-drenched shores of Florida, here are our best surf spots in America to explore with your truck camper.

1. Malibu, California
We know this first spot likely won’t surprise you – Malibu! Nestled along the sun-soaked shores of Southern California, Malibu is synonymous with surf culture. From the iconic First Point to the more forgiving breaks at Surfrider Beach, Malibu offers something for surfers of all skill levels. With its perfect waves and vibrant atmosphere, it’s no wonder Malibu has been a favorite among wave riders for generations. It’s a favorite among our truck camper owners.
2. Pipeline, Hawaii
Okay, this one might be a little hard to get your Four Wheel Camper to, but we can’t make a surf roundup without including Hawaii! It is the surf capitol of the United States, after all. Located on the North Shore of Oahu, Pipeline is the stuff of legends – a magnet for experienced surfers seeking the ultimate challenge. With its monstrous waves and bone-crushing barrels, Pipeline demands respect and skill. Paddling out here is not for the faint of heart, but for those brave enough to take on the challenge, the rewards are unparalleled.

3. Cocoa Beach, Florida
Known for its consistent swells and laid-back vibe, Cocoa Beach is a classic spot that offers surfers a taste of the Sunshine State’s surf culture.
